RevSpring Announces New Chief Executive Officer

Experienced Healthcare and Technology Leader Scott MacKenzie Joins RevSpring to Fuel Continued Growth

March 18, 2019 – RevSpring, a leading provider of consumer communications, billing, and payment solutions, announced today that healthcare industry veteran Scott MacKenzie has joined RevSpring as Chief Executive Officer and a member of RevSpring’s Board of Directors. Scott brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and information technology, with a successful track record of leading companies to accelerate growth, transform industries and create customer value.

Before joining RevSpring, Scott held a variety of leadership roles in the healthcare industry, most recently as CEO of M*Modal, a leading technology provider of advanced clinical documentation solutions, recently acquired by 3M. Prior to that, he was CEO of Passport Health Communications until its acquisition by Experian, where he served as President of Experian Health. MacKenzie also held executive positions at McKesson Corporation and Cerner Corporation.

“Scott is a dynamic leader with expertise that spans consumer engagement, analytics, payments, and digital transformation,” said KJ McConnell, Vice President at GTCR, a leading private equity firm and majority shareholder of RevSpring. “We are confident that Scott is the right leader to guide the company through the next stage of growth and innovation.”

RevSpring generates over one billion consumer financial communications and facilitates nearly $5 billion in consumer payment volume annually. The company improves consumer satisfaction and client outcomes by using proprietary data analytics to tailor the engagement workflow around communications and payment options that fit individual circumstances and preferences.

“I am impressed by the transformation of RevSpring from a leading industry supplier of statements to the foremost innovator of financial engagement in challenging markets where consumers are often reluctant to pay,” said MacKenzie. “RevSpring is uniquely positioned to drive better outcomes for our customers by helping them make more effective financial connections with their consumers.”

MacKenzie will replace retiring RevSpring CEO Rahul Gupta. Gupta will remain active in the organization as a board member for the company.

“It has been a privilege to lead RevSpring through a pivotal time in the company’s history,” said Gupta. “I’m proud of the dedicated team at RevSpring who truly care about the people we serve and the financial obligations they face, and I look forward to working closely with Scott on the board as the company focuses on the next chapter.”
