Wixom, MI –Healthcare professionals looking to improve the patient experience often focus on the clinical interactions and atmosphere of the healthcare experience. However, what tends to be overlooked is the revenue cycle’s influence on the patient experience. RevSpring’s Casey Williams has helped fill a void regarding this conversation.
Williams, Vice President of Direct Healthcare Sales at RevSpring, brings a unique perspective to how today’s patients perceive their quality of care, and how revenue cycle interactions are affecting it. He has presented to over a dozen different educational associations, and is scheduled to present to four more this September.
“Casey Williams’ presentation was by far the best webinar we have hosted,” said BridgeFront COO, Kent Lane. Williams presented for BridgeFront, an e-learning company for the healthcare industry, earlier this summer. “The content was professionally developed, visually appealing, relevant to our audience, and Casey is an impassioned speaker – clearly an expert in this area. Our clients were excited about this webinar, and Casey left them clamoring for more,” said Lane.
While RevSpring specializes in some of the services and technologies highlighted in the presentation, such as patient communications, self-service tools, and payment applications, the message remains purely educational and motivational. “It’s more than the technologies, applications, or communications a health system provides its patients,” said Williams. “Those are vital, but they’re simply the tools that help enhance the patient experience. What it comes down to is changing the industry’s mindset about how they engage their patients and use technology. We want to help them find purpose in what they do, and understand what the patient experience means for their overall success as an organization.”
Williams will be presenting at the following educational events this September:
9/4/14: HFMA Wisconsin Chapter Webinar
9/11/14: AAHAM Western Reserve Chapter Fall Conference
9/18/14: HFMA Northwest Ohio Chapter Education Session
9/23/14: Central Ohio Patient Account Managers (COPAM)
