Chief Executive Officer
Rahul Gupta is the Chief Executive Officer for RevSpring, joining the company in January 2017.
Mr. Gupta brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services and payments industries, having served in a variety of capacities ranging from business line management and product development to management consulting. Most recently, Mr. Gupta was the Executive Vice President and Group President of Billing and Payments Solutions for Fiserv, a financial technology Fortune 500 company. In his ten-year tenure with the company, Mr. Gupta was a crucial player in helping Fiserv establish market leadership. He managed various payments business lines at the company including electronic billing and payments solutions, credit and debit processing, mobile and online banking solutions and payments network solutions. He also led several strategic acquisitions which enhanced Fiserv’s competitive posture. Previously, Mr. Gupta served as President of U.S. Operations for eFunds Corp (acquired by Fidelity Information Services, FIS) and has held executive positions at i2 Technologies, Summit Marketing Group, Fidelity Investments, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude with an MBA from Indiana University and earned a BA in Commerce from Delhi University as well as Chartered Accountancy (CPA) certification from Delhi, India.
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
John Carson is Chief Operating Office (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RevSpring. Mr. Carson is a senior financial leader with more than 20 years of Big 4 public accounting and senior financial experience. He is a CPA and has served as CFO at both service and automotive companies owned by private equity investors.
Prior to joining RevSpring in 2014, Mr. Carson was CFO of Meridian Lightweight Technologies, a tier one automotive supplier producing magnesium die cast parts. While at Meridian, Mr. Carson was responsible for the global finance and accounting functions with operations in U.S., Canada, Mexico, U.K. and China. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Carson spent six years as CFO at Southfield, Mich.-based Fluid Routing Solutions, Inc. and was responsible for all finance, accounting, tax, risk management functions along with human resources and information technologies for this tier one automotive parts supplier.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Carson served as CFO for ASC Incorporated, a tier one automotive parts supplier, Innovative Leather Technologies, LLC, a start-up automotive leather finisher, Peregrine Incorporated, a tier one automotive supplier, and EQ – The Environmental Quality Company, hazardous waste treatment and disposal.
Mr. Carson has a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and earned his CPA certification in 1992.
As President of Healthcare Services at RevSpring, Marty Callahan works closely with industry leaders and an integrated corporate team to establish strategic objectives and direction for RevSpring in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining DANTOM in 2012, Mr. Callahan spent 23 years with TransUnion, a $1 billion provider of data, analytics and workflow solutions for the financial services, healthcare and ARM markets. His leadership positions included Vice President of the Healthcare Solutions and Analytic Decision Services group. Between two stints at TransUnion, he also held senior-level leadership positions for SAIC (Science Application International Corporation) and Foresight Corporation. These roles were focused on the healthcare market, specifically in clinical systems integration, business consulting, revenue cycle management and HIPAA compliance.
From 1987 to 2000, Mr. Callahan worked in technology and sales roles for TransUnion and has extensive experience in predictive analytics, data management, decisioning systems and business rules automation for the healthcare and financial services industries.
Mr. Callahan received a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from Ohio State University.
Chief Technology Officer
Bill Needham joined RevSpring in 2015 as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the development of RevSpring’s customer-facing technology solutions and platforms.
Mr. Needham previously served as Vice President, Technology and Development at Wellness & Prevention, a Johnson & Johnson company. His career has also included stops at Thomson Reuters Healthcare – holding positions as Vice President of Applications Development and Vice President, Product Engineering – and Fair Isaac, where he spent eight years helping to drive customer-oriented technology solutions. In total, Mr. Needham has more than 30 years of experience in IT.
Mr. Needham holds a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science from Purdue University, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
Chief Compliance Officer
Analiese Fusner, Esq., CHC, CCEP joined RevSpring in 2013 as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She is responsible for leading and overseeing RevSpring’s Compliance & Ethics Program. RevSpring’s program encompasses the best of all regulatory agency guidelines while utilizing several recognized continuous improvement tools. This integrated and synthesized model offers a sustainable and rigorous approach to achieving an effective compliance program while fostering a high-integrity, ethical culture.
Prior to joining RevSpring, Ms. Fusner served as Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) for Genesys Health System, which is affiliated with Ascension Health.
Before entering the legal and compliance industry, Ms. Fusner spent more than 22 years in Corporate and Operational environments planning and executing start ups, new product launches, as well as implementing corporate strategies across domestic and international locations. Ms. Fusner has extensive experience in lean, business plan deployment, and program management that resulted in her receiving several Quality awards.
Ms. Fusner has a BS in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University and a JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She also earned and maintains both a CHC and CCEP designation from the Compliance Certification Board and serves on Michigan’s 6th Circuit Court’s list of appointed civil mediators. Recently, Ms. Fusner accepted a position as adjunct Professor at Cooley Law School where she developed and teaches Cooley’ first corporate compliance program course.
Chief Information Officer
As CIO, Mike Hennessy is responsible for application development and support, platform integration and infrastructure design, as well as architecture and related program/project management.
Mr. Hennessy joined PSC Info Group in 1998 and has more than 15 years of industry experience in the development and management of information technology platforms. The merger of PSC Info Group, where he served as CIO, and three other companies into RevSpring has allowed Mr. Hennessy to lead the evaluation of new technologies and determine how they can be applied to improve business processes.
Prior to PSC, he served at GE Capital as the Exchange Administrator, as well as having oversight of a variety of technical functions. He acquired a broad knowledge of how large financial institutions resolve hardware and software system integration issues.
Mr. Hennessy attended Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Education, and has supplemented his formal education with technology certifications from The Chubb Institute.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Barb Rice, Chief Human Resources Officer, joined RevSpring in 2012 as Vice President of Human Resources. She is responsible for positively fostering RevSpring’s team culture and implementing HR processes across the United States at RevSpring’s multiple locations.
Prior to joining RevSpring, Ms. Rice served as VP of Human Resources, overseeing offices in the United States and Europe at both Caymen Chemical Company, a research chemical company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, an equity-owned company, specializing in the manufacture of orthopedic and dental implants.
Earlier in her career, she spent six years as Vice President of Human Resources at Emergent BioSolutions, an equity biotech manufacturing and research company with locations in the United States, Europe and Middle East.
She received her undergraduate degree in Labor Relations from Michigan State University and an MS in Human Resource Administration from Central Michigan University.
Senior Vice President, Strategy and Product Development
Mark Waterstraat joined RevSpring in August 2017 as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Product Development and is responsible for the company’s corporate strategy and marketing, product management, as well as corporate and business development. He brings over 20 years of experience, specializing in driving new technologies and services into the healthcare and financial services markets. Prior to joining RevSpring, Mr. Waterstraat was Senior Vice President at WEX Health, overseeing the company’s health insurance premium billing, COBRA, and public sector businesses.
In 2006, Mr. Waterstraat co-founded Benaissance (now part of WEX Health) and lead the company’s technology, strategy, product, sales, and marketing teams from inception through the company’s 2015 acquisition by WEX, Inc.
Mr. Waterstraat is a sought-after speaker and industry expert, frequently addressing national leaders and industry organizations as an advocate for consumers and improved healthcare billing practices. He resides in Chicago with his family and serves on the Parent Philanthropy Committee for the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools.
He received his BA with concentration in American Government from Dartmouth College.
